Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) is a protein hormone found in pregnant women, Taken in low doses, Hcg preserves muscle tissue during extreme dieting. Years of research has shown that HCG combined with a low calorie diet will increase lean muscle and quickly deplete fat storages. This fact is imperative to the way this diet works.

Muscle is responsible for your body’s metabolizing abilities, muscle utilizes calories during exercise and other daily activities. Whereas fat is in an inactive process, it requires no calories and therefore doesn’t contribute to metabolism. This information is important because when most people participate in low calorie diets, the reduction on the scale is largely due to muscle wasting. This looks good on the scale but is bad on the body. It destroys the metabolism causing “rebound” or rapid regaining of weight lost and extra pounds. This doesn’t happen with HCG. How much weight will I lose with the HCG diet?

 

We try to focus mostly on inches lost vs weight. This plan requires a fair amount of water consumption which could make it seem like you are not loosing much. However, most HCG dieters report a loss of 1 to 2 lbs per week.  At the very least, .5 pound a week.  1 lb  is generally lost in the first week.  The amount lost is strongly affected by one's ability to follow the diet plan.

 

Will I gain the weight back after the HCG diet?

The majority of our diet plan is based off the cunsumption of whole foods, which will not only help you to loose weight but keep it off.  The use of HCG in this process is to prevent muscle loss and promote long, lean muscles, as we significantly drop your calorie allowance.  The increased muscle will help burn more calories, thus helping to keep the weight off.  We want you to succeed after you have reached your desired weight. Is HCG safe for men?

 

The HCG used for the weight loss protocol is naturally found in men.  In fact, it is present in every human tissue, including males and non-pregnant women as well as pregnant. 

 

Are the HCG injections painful?

 

The HCG injections for weight loss are administered using a very fine needle into the fatty tissue of the abdomen and are relatively painless.  A Registerd Nurse will teach you everything you need to know about proper handling and injection techniques.
