LASER REJUVENATION
LASER GENESIS
(Excessive redness, Large pores, Uneven texture, Fine-line wrinkles, Collagen production)
Laser Genesis skin therapy is an innovative, technologically advanced way to promote vibrant and healthy looking skin in men and women. Now you can have a youthful appearance by treating those conditions that are typically associated with premature signs of aging and sun damage, such as excessive redness, large pores, uneven texture, and fine-line wrinkles. The Laser Genesis procedure has been scientifically proven to produce new collagen.
The Laser Genesis procedure utilizes non-invasive laser technology to safely, discretely and effectively treat fine-line wrinkles, diffuse and excessive redness and help manage large pores, uneven skin texture, and scars. You can expect to see subtle yet consistent results after each treatment, without unwanted side effects such as bruising or excessive skin irritation. Treatments can be performed in a relaxed, comfortable manner without the use of topical anesthetics or gel.
How does Laser Genesis work?
By gently heating the upper dermis well below your skin's surface, Laser Genesis stimulates collagen regrowth. Additional heat is generated in dilated capillaries to reduce redness.
How many treatments will I need?
The treatment results are often subtle. On average, you may require four to six treatments in order to achieve optimal results. Every patient's condition and needs vary. For more information about your expected results or the number of treatments necessary, consult your healthcare professional.
What are the possible side effects?
Although most patients report few if any side effects, the most common is a slight redness that disappears within a few hours of treatment. Consult your healthcare professional for complete information about the benefits and risks of treatment.
What kind of textural improvements can you expect with Laser Genesis skin therapy?
Over the course of four to five treatments, Laser Genesis can help restore the skin's youthful glow and appearance by smoothing out uneven texture caused by aging, sun damage or scars. You will see a more even, healthy complexion as large pores are reduced in size, and minor imperfections are diminished. The individual treatment results are subtle, but the overall effect of multiple treatments can be quite dramatic.

(Aging and Sundamaged skin)
Fraxel Restore
How does Fraxel re:store treatment work?
Fraxel re:store laser treatment targets aging and sun-damaged skin with microscopic laser columns that penetrate deep into your skin to expedite your body’s remodeling of collagen. And since the laser treats only a fraction of tissue at a time, it leaves the surrounding tissue intact, which promotes very rapid healing. Fraxel re:store treatment resurfaces your skin by stimulating the growth of new, healthy skin cells from the inside out.
What are the benefits of Fraxel re:store treatment?
Smoother, fresher, younger-looking looking skin
Improved tone and texture
Erasing of unwanted brown spots
Reduced fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes
Improved appearance of acne scars and surgical scars
What FDA clearances has Fraxel re:store treatment received?
Wrinkles around the eyes (periorbital wrinkles)
Acne scars
Surgical scars
Age spots/sunspots (pigmented lesions)
Melasma (irregular patches of brown skin on the forehead, cheeks, upper lip and nose)
Actinic Keratoses (precancerous lesions)
Skin resurfacing
How are Fraxel re:store treatments performed?
First, your skin will be cleansed. Then, about 60 minutes prior to treatment, a topical anesthetic ointment will be applied to the treatment area. The Fraxel re:store procedure takes 20 to 25 minutes for a full face.
How many treatments will I need and how will they be spaced?
Clinical studies suggest that on average, an effective treatment regimen is 3 to 5 sessions spaced about 2 to 4 weeks apart. Depending on your condition and schedule, you and the medical professional may choose to space treatment sessions further apart. Results are immediate and progressive, with optimal improvement usually visible in 2 to 3 months.
This time frame and treatment structure allow for complete healing and the production of new collagen and elastin to replace damaged tissue.
Does Fraxel re:store treatment hurt?
Most patients describe an increased sensation of heat during the treatment. To minimize discomfort, topical anesthesia is applied before the procedure and cold air is used on the treatment area during the procedure. After the treatment, most patients feel like they have a sunburn, which usually diminishes in 1 to 3 hours.
What should I expect after Fraxel re:store treatment?
During the first 24 hours after treatment, your skin may feel as though it is sunburned, and it will appear pink or red. You can wear make-up to reduce the sunburned appearance. Your skin will naturally bronze over the next week or two, and as you continue treatment, the sunburned-to-bronzed appearance will repeat. As with a sunburn, your skin will flake and exfoliate normally. Use a moisturizer to reduce the appearance of dry flakes.
What side effects can I expect after treatment and how long will they last?
Swelling and redness are the most common side effects from Fraxel re:store treatment. Any swelling is typically minimal and subsides within a day or two, and any redness typically fades within a few days. Other temporary side effects may include minor itching, dry skin, peeling or flaking, and a bronzed skin appearance. There is a limited risk of infection, hyperpigmentation, or scarring. The intensity and duration of side effects depend on the aggressiveness of treatment and on your particular healing characteristics. Your medical professional will provide specific instructions about what to expect and how to minimize any side effects.
What precautions should I take after treatment?
Use a post treatment cream, wear sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher, avoid direct sun exposure for at least 3 months after your last treatment, and wear a wide-brimmed hat when you're in the sun.
How long do the positive effects of Fraxel re:store treatment last?
It depends on your particular condition and how you care for your skin. Once your skin is treated, continue to protect it as described above. For conditions such as melasma, it is very important to avoid direct sun exposure. Your medical professional will give you specific advice based on your individual needs.
Fraxel Dual

Scars
Acne
Surgical
Trauma
Wrinkles
Melasma
Photodamage
Actinic keratosis
Soft tissue coagulation
What is treatment like?
Similar to the Fraxel Re:Store system, the Fraxel Re:Store Dual is a quick procedure with no downtime. It involves minor redness and swelling that can be decreased with after-care protocol. The Dual system has an attached cooling system, eliminating the need for an assistant and ensuring that spot cooling is consistent and accurate. After an hour of topical numbing cream, the treatment takes approximently 20-30 mins for the face.
What is recovery like?
You may look like you have a sunburn in the days afterward, and it is important to keep the skin moist and coated with sunscreen. Decreasing salt, increasing water intake, and sleeping at an incline can also help speed the healing process. However, unlike more intense laser treatments, the Fraxel Re:Store Dual requires minimal, simple, quick aftercare and very little downtime.
How do I decide which treatment is best for me?
Fraxel Restore is typically best for deeper scars and wrinkles whereas Fraxel Dual is best used for pigmentation, melasma and fine lines and wrinkles. It is best to schedule a free consultation with our medical professionals to best decide the most effective treatment for your skin concerns.
PHOTO GENESIS (BBL)
(Excessive sun damage, skin’s texture, tone and color on your face, chest, arms, and hands)
Photo Genesis is an innovative way to quickly, safely and
comfortably improve your skin’s texture, tone and color on your face, chest, arms, and hands, without gel or topical anesthetics. Signs of sun damage and age spots will usually flake off after several treatments leaving clearer, younger- looking skin.
The Photo Genesis difference.
Comfort. Cutera has created a pulsed light system that is exceptionally effective for treating skin redness (rosacea), brown spots and sun damage at a very comfortable energy level. There is no need to apply topical anesthetic or gel beforehand, and you can realize remarkable results in just one or two treatments.
What areas can be treated?
Virtually any part of your body with uneven skin tone, diffuse redness, or sun and age spots can be safely treated. The face, chest, shoulders and arms are the most popular areas for treatment because they have typically had the most sun exposure. Discrete brown spots, excessively ruddy complexions and skin densely covered with freckles respond well to treatment.
What does the treatment do?
The visible light delivered by the Photo Genesis procedure is selectively absorbed by the pigmented spots and red areas on your skin. It’s the heating of the pigmented cells that causes the therapeutic effect.
Will I need to have an anesthetic?
No. Unlike other systems, the Photo Genesis treatment requires no topical anesthetic or gel before treatment.
What do treatments feel like?
When the handpiece is placed on your skin, it will feel cool and comfortable. When the pulse of light is delivered, you may feel a mild, brief pinching sensation.
How long will the treatment take?
The actual treatment will only take a few minutes. And, since there is no need to apply gel or any topical anesthetic, your total appointment time can easily fit within your lunch hour.
How many treatments will I need?
Typically, one to several treatments are sufficient to see dramatic results, depending on the underlying damage. Additional treatments may be required for very large or dark spots, densely freckled areas, or excessively sun damaged skin.
What happens after the treatment?
Immediately following the treatment, the spots may start to darken. You may notice a slight reddening of the surrounding skin. This typically subsides within a couple of hours. Over the course of the next one to three weeks, darkened spots will fade and flake off. Your mottled complexion will clear. Consult with your medical professional for complete information on the benefits and risks of treatment.
When will I see results?
Many patients see significant improvement within two to three weeks of treatment. Your complexion will be clearer and younger looking. However, your final result may not be apparent for a month or more.
Will the spots and redness reappear over time?
Over time new spots may appear if there is sufficient sun exposure. These too can be removed. Remember to liberally apply sunscreen when outdoors to minimize sun damage and the appearance of new spots and excessive redness.
